Lead Lawyer

Job Description

Glovo keeps growing day after day, that's why we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead. Lawyer that will work with the HQ Legal Team of the company on managing the day to day implications in the business.

Be a part of a team where you will:

• Report to the Head of International in all related functions
• Be the main responsible for Romania and Moldova legal functions
• Draft, review, analyze, negotiate all kind of contracts with all the players involved in the business
• Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with the regulations applicable to Glovo’ s business (including privacy, labor, compliance, regulated products and others)
• Collaborate with external law firms
• Support in the analysis and implementation of strategies, as well as implementation of corporate governance policies, special projects and reporting functions
• Participate in due diligence, risks assessment, elaborate corporate documentation
• Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it.
• Be appointed as the compliance officer of Glovo Romania
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a law firm/big4 with proven experience in commercial law, consumer & antitrust and/or labor law.
• Excellent English (speaking and drafting). Knowledge of other languages is a plus (preferably Slavic languages)
• Bachelor of Laws in Romania or in a European country that can be validated in Romania.
• Highly motivated in the world of start-ups and new technologies
• Problem solver, Multitasking, Thinking out of the box, Organized and detail-oriented person
• International profile, able to work in a flexible, collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment
• An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
