We're Thales ECC Bucharest, one of the fastest-growing engineering centers in the city. We build software for air traffic, defence, and critical infrastructure across Europe. Not another CRUD app. Systems that stay up when everything else goes down.
THE WORK:
Java backend engineering across the full lifecycle, on long-horizon European programs. REST APIs, services, and platforms with real domain complexity, real users, real stakes.
YOUR STACK:
Java 11+, Spring / Spring Boot, microservices, REST, CI/CD. Kafka, Docker, K8s are a plus, not a gate.
YOU:
2+ years as a Java or backend engineer, curiosity about the domain, and the patience to build things that last a decade, not a sprint. Not ticking every box? Apply anyway. We hire for trajectory, not checklists.
