We are looking for a Treasury Analyst based in Cluj-Napoca Romania responsible for European cash management activities which include management of daily liquidity activities coordination of bank services and treasury process automation efforts.

The role reports to the European Treasury Manager and is an important member of the global Copeland Treasury organization. Working collectively the treasury team manages global liquidity risk management capital markets acquisition integrations and other corporate initiatives and finance projects.

The treasury analyst maintains direct contact with banking partners as well as European and global shared service centers and business units

Key responsibilities of the role:

Transaction Administration

• Perform daily cash positioning transaction initiation and investment management for Europe
• Review transaction activity and confirm compliance with disbursement control policies

Bank Account Management

• Identify process improvements in European Banking Operations

Systems Management and Administration

• Perform system operations and administration on systems used by Treasury globally
• Perform administrative functions on Electronic Banking platforms for global customer base
• Track activity and provide reporting for global customer base on Treasury transactions users and systems

Information Administration

• Track Business Unit transaction activity intercompany loans between finance companies and Business Units around the world country pan-European and global cash pools investment balances & bank accounts
• Global Cash Balance collection and reporting support

Special Projects

• Lead/assist with projects supporting Treasury initiatives
  • Global Treasury Management System implementation and operation
  • Global disbursement control program
  • Bank account rationalization

Support Treasury Management System Implementation

• Contributing to all project phases
• Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems is considered an advantage

Required qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Accounting Finance/Business administration or similar.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong English skills both written and spoken.
• Working knowledge of financial systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and use of e-banking systems is an advantage.
• Excel advanced mandatory for this role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Results-oriented.
• Proactive.
• Ability to work well in a team organize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions.
• Willingness for a flexible working schedule depending on role requirements.
