(Senior) Accountant Operations (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Taking full ownership of incoming/ outgoing supplier/client invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Managing supplier account reconciliations and balance confirmations
• Ensuring compliance with Withholding Tax (WHT), Relevant Contract Tax (RCT), Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), and complex international tax and accounting requirements
• Owning master data governance, data quality assurance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Actively participating in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Supporting Treasury activities, including payment runs, cash flow planning, and aging reports.
• Supporting and coordinating internal and external audit activities
• Taking full accounting responsibility and supporting Group Accounting for multiple entities within the Greencells Group, including sub-ledger and general ledger accounting
• Preparing high-quality financial analyses, management reports, and decision-making insights for Finance leadership
• Driving the adoption of AI across Finance processes by identifying automation opportunities, implementing AI-enabled solutions, and promoting data-driven ways of working to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing internal control systems (ICS)
• Providing guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to team members

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent commercial education; further accounting qualification is a plus
• 5+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international group environment
• Good knowledge of WHT/VAT treatments, Relevant Contract Tax (RCT) for Ireland, CIS for UK
• Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation and closing processes
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience in Business Central Microsoft Dynamic 365 is a plus
• Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and countries
• A responsible, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to apply professional expertise effectively in day-to-day activities
