Air Freight

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day air freight operations and keep shipments on track from booking to final delivery;

Prepare air freight quotations and follow through by organizing shipments once the offer is accepted;

Coordinate bookings with airlines and agents respecting cut-off times and capacity constraints;

Prepare and check shipment documentation and instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance;

Track shipments daily and proactively update customers and internal stakeholders;

Manage exceptions such as delays rollovers missing documents customs holds and route changes;

Liaise with customers carriers trucking partners warehouses and internal teams to solve issues fast;

Maintain accurate shipment data costs and status updates in internal systems to support billing and reporting;

Support continuous improvement by suggesting practical fixes to recurring operational issues.

Requirements

Around 12 years of experience in air freight operations or freight forwarding;

Exposure to both import and export is preferred;

Basic understanding of air freight documentation and operational flow;

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments under time pressure;

Strong communication skills in email and phone with a customer-focused mindset;

High attention to detail and ownership mentality;

Good MS Office or Google Workspace skills; experience with logistics systems is a plus;

English required; additional languages are an advantage;

Dangerous goods knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
