For our business partner — a leading company in the digital payments space — we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build secure, scalable, and modern infrastructure f or cutting-edge financial platforms used by thousands of users daily.

The company’s office is in Bucharest , but we’re recruiting nationwide — this is a f ull-remote role open to candidates across Romania.

The collaboration can be on a CIM (employment contract) or B2B , depending on your preference.

What will you do?

• Manage and operate AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters with best practices for deployment, networking, scaling, and security
• Design and implement secure, cost-efficient, and highly available cloud architectures leveraging Azure and managed services
• Administer, maintain, and optimize CI / CD pipelines in close collaboration with development teams
• Oversee infrastructure components such as Windows VMs, Linux workloads, NVAs (Network Virtual Appliances), SignalR , and other Azure resources
• Manage networking and connectivity within Azure (VNETs, VPNs, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, DNS Zones)
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and workloads — including image security, vulnerability scanning, and identity and access management
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor) to ensure observability and reliability
• Implement GitOps principles to enable declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible , or equivalent IaC tools
• Identify and drive automation opportunities across infrastructure and delivery pipelines to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure disaster recovery, resilience, and compliance objectives are met
