Job Description

Our customer is a German IT service provider specializing in cloud infrastructure and digital solutions for cooperative banks. We support them by developing and optimizing DevOps platforms, enhancing CI / CD automation, managing Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, and improving the security and stability of their systems.

Responsibilities

Optimizing CI / CD Pipelines : Streamline deployment workflows by designing and implementing Jenkins pipelines and OpenShift CI / CD processes, enhancing automation and efficiency.

Ensuring Scalable Infrastructure : Manage and optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance to support business-critical applications.

Enhancing System Observability : Implement Dynatrace monitoring, log analysis, and automated alerts to proactively detect and resolve performance issues, improving system reliability.

Strengthening Security & Compliance : Enforce best practices in infrastructure security, including SSL / TLS certificate management and access control, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Supporting Incident & Release Management : Work closely with developers and operations teams to facilitate smooth, secure, and reliable software releases, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

Fostering Collaboration & Mentorship : Act as a technical mentor for mid-level engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing, continuous improvement, and best practices in cloud infrastructure and automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred) and container orchestration.
Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD (Groovy scripting a plus).
Knowledge of Dynatrace or similar monitoring and observability tools.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Good understanding of Linux system administration and networking.
Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
