The department is currently planning the introduction of new IT applications at the Bavarian health authorities and will make an operational contribution to rolling these out across the country through technical and IT support.

Versatile tasks that will challenge you

• Participation in the planning, design and implementation of complex IT architectures, taking into account security and performance requirements as well as external and internal connected network structures across organizations
• Analysis and optimization of existing IT architectures with regard to availability, scalability and security including review of various network and IT policies
• Participation in the design, further development and integration of cloud solutions and hybrid network infrastructures, such as Kubernetes architectures (cluster architecture, containers, workloads, services, load balancing and networking, storage, configurations, etc.)
• Participation in the maintenance and further development of the network infrastructure of the ÖGD applications, e.g. further development and interfaces, network segmentation, proxy, WLAN, VPN, RAS management and firewalls
• Support with interface development in various systems with the aim of interoperability and intercommunication, e.g. connecting different ticket systems with each other, etc.
• Introduction of new technologies and network standards in coordination with internal departments, external service providers, health authorities, other authorities in Bavaria and other federal states as part of the ÖGD
• Participation in operations, e.g. in the administration and / or configuration of internal tools for first-level support of ÖGD applications
• Coordination of internal and external service providers for checking and controlling monitoring, recordings and support in error analysis of network operation (monitoring, troubleshooting) as required
• Creation of system documentation and concepts as well as review of IT system documentation supplied by external parties
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and IT security requirements
• You manage projects from a technical perspective, including independently planning project plans, following them up and ensuring compliance with them

Employment relationship / evaluation

Recruitment is by way of a permanent employment relationship under collective bargaining law. Remuneration is based on the regulations of the TV-L. Depending on qualifications and personal requirements, the intended classification will be up to pay grade E 12, plus a personal bonus if applicable.
