Department Description

Oracle Pre-Sales is the function which provides product expertise to Sales, Customers & Partners in Oracle. Oracle has a large community of Sales Consultants that engage on a daily basis in tasks such as :

  • Reusable product presentations, customizations & demonstrations by translating our customer's

business needs into Oracle solutions.

  • Advising customers & partners on how best to use Oracle products
  • Technical proofs of concept including the ones with data provided by clients
  • Interacting with product development about new releases and new functionality
  • Participation in additional projects with added value in departmental and organizational activity

Our Oracle CX Cloud Demo Engineering team is a team of custom demo builders and solution finding masters with a passion for all things CX and staying ahead of the technology curve.

    Role Overview :

    This highly rewarding role will offer you the opportunity to leverage your knowledge and skills in Oracle CX Cloud product area, and work in unison with Oracle’s best field sales consultants that build market leading CX enterprise solutions using best of breed SaaS & PaaS platforms, solving complex customer problems and translating customer requirements into solutions that drive business results, building amazing demos and helping sales and working on challenging projects that leverage the latest technology and delivering solutions for our customers that transform businesses and deliver deep insight.

    The expectations from you in this role is to be able to harness your Oracle CX Cloud experience, particularly in Field Service and CPQ product areas, to technically implement complex Oracle-based solutions in the analytics and data integration space. Oracle’s cloud-first strategy is creating new opportunities that enable our clients to take insight to the next level.

    In addition to project implementation activities, we expect our consultants to give back to the team by sharing knowledge and best practices with others.

    This is a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle’s customers in North America.

    To be successful in this role, you will ideally have :

  • Expertise and a proven track record with Oracle’s CX Cloud suite, with focus on Field Service and CPQ product areas :
  • Oracle Field Service - Prior hands-on experience in configurations and customization in the
  • following areas Core Application, Profiles, Permissions, Business Rules, Routing Plans, Work

    Schedules, Smart Collaboration, Action Management, Mobility and Manage Displays, Reports,

    Data migration, Inbound / Outbound messages. Experience developing Oracle Field Service forms

    and plug-ins.

  • Oracle CPQ - Hands on experience in configuring Oracle CPQ Cloud module Pricing, Quotation
  • Configuration, Product Management-Items, BOMs, and System Configuration, Document Engine

    and Big Machines Language (BML), Utilities Libraries, Validation / Hiding / Constraint rules, Layout

    editor, Commerce layout, Custom CSS, Designing extensions and interfaces in Oracle CPQ Cloud

    module.

  • Ideally to be worked / have knowledge of other Oracle CX Cloud modules : CX Sales, B2B Service Cloud,
  • Asset Based Service, Subscription Management, Incentive Compensation

  • Experience developing extensions using Redwood UI, VBCS, VBS, Groovy scripting, JET, would be a plus
  • Experience with React and / or other front-end JavaScript frameworks, would be a plus
  • Preferable to also have Database and PL / SQL knowledge.
  • Ability to discuss key industry issues and a passion for figuring out solutions
  • Willing to do” attitude and capacity to self-learn new things with / without minimal guidance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Experience in various industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Professional Services, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Higher Education, and Life Sciences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • High energy & drive coupled with strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to exercise good judgment.

    Responsibilities include :

    Your core responsibility is to understand customer challenges and build solutions leveraging Oracle’s modern Cloud platform and applications.

    You are expected to work directly with the Sales team to :

  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle CX Cloud to meet customer’s needs
  • Develop outstanding Oracle demonstrations and content, doing setup and complex configuration in
  • demo environments, required based on script scenarios or based on your own experience and

    innovative thinking

  • Build repeatable cloud solution demonstrations
  • Create new industry-focused solution innovations
  • Convey the business value of Oracle solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Post-demo build, capture the unique solutions and innovation you’ve delivered, using our newest Oracle
  • Modern Best Practices (OMBP) and Knowledge Centered Selling (KCS) methodology.
