DevOps Consultant with German (Linux & SQL)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Who we are

The project involves 2nd level technical support and development activities for extremely complex systems implemented in the plants a Bavarian automotive producer. The purpose of the systems is to control the customer’s assembly lines.

What you'll be doing

• Technical support and maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible for
• Work with the PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
• Communicate and cooperate with the users and the customer
• Active participation in Scrum meetings
• Refinement and implementation of the user stories with the on-site and near-shore DevOps team
• Requirements' estimation with the development team
• Solve the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
• Perform problem analysis and documentation, root cause analysis, logs analysis
• Find performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively
• Installation of regular patches for the applications
• Database activities in Oracle : checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning, Tablespace management, managing the DB Links, DB Indexes etc.
• Create and continuously maintain the documentation
