JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Sr IT Project Management Specialist who will be responsible to manage projects running from NPI Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) platform. The incumbent will need to manage cross-functional Enterprise IT teams (internal & external), work very closely with the Business stakeholders. In addition, collaborate with business partners, and vendors to deliver strategic programs to planned scope, schedule and quality within the budget. The person will play key role in ensuring program deliverables are met and corporate quality requirements are produced on time and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business and stakeholders to gather project requirements
- Partner with the businesses and IT key stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Defines the initiative per the business need and creates momentum and support to drive forward, while managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Focus on both Honeywell business stakeholders and internal IT project needs to create an environment and process that ensures the successful delivery of the program objectives.
- Initiates and facilitates team meetings and issue resolution involving the right parties to resolve problems and Support Users during critical activities such as UAT, month end closure, etc.
- Participate and lead solution design solutions as appropriate
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and finding
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Support the implementation of key deliverables as assigned such as functional discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others
- Create status reports and prepare leadership summary presentations
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions
- Perform system testing and ensure quality assurance
QUALIFICATIONS
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience and strong process knowledge in at least one of the following IT / Business Project execution expertise: Investment and/or M&A&D&S projects
- Technology Experience with at least one of the related PPM System: Accolade / Cora PPM / Planview
- Execution of Projects in a Agile and Toll-gate-based project management methodology
