Trade Compliance Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities :

• Regulatory Compliance : Monitor and interpret trade regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.
• Documentation : Prepare and review all necessary documentation for import / export transactions, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessments related to trade activities and implement strategies to mitigate potential compliance risks.
• Audits and Reporting : Conduct regular audits of trade activities and prepare reports for management regarding compliance status and potential issues.
• Communication : Liaise with government agencies, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth trade operations and resolve any compliance-related issues.
• Policy Development : Assist in developing and updating trade compliance policies and procedures.
