Team Leader General Ledger, Closing & Reporting

A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead a team of accounting experts, managing issues, analyzing errors, and driving process improvements while ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, actively listening to their needs and managing complex operational issues, while sharing best practices across teams. Serve as the go-to contact for accounting issues, guiding the team in resolving challenges and spearheading finance transformation projects for enhanced efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Oversee month-end activities, account reconciliations, and general housekeeping of General Ledger accounts. - Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines.
• Implement and document new processes and procedures while managing intercompany reconciliations and posting of accruals and provisions.
• Ensure stability in financial closing activities, providing support and leadership to the General Ledger, Closing & Reporting team.
• Manage internal controls for General Ledger accounting and assist in internal / external audits by providing timely information and resolving auditor queries.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, support finance transformation projects, and engage in standardizing and automating workflows across the organization.
