We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager with deep expertise in IT&C solutions and physical security systems. The ideal candidate is a proven B2B sales professional who thrives in consultative selling, solution-based sales, and long sales cycle management.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bucharest

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business leads within the assigned territory or sector
  • Act as the primary client interface , managing key accounts and cultivating customer relationships
  • Conduct client meetings and perform needs analysis to tailor technical solutions
  • Provide pre-sales consulting , translating business requirements into project proposals
  • Coordinate bid management , ensuring all commercial offers align with client expectations
  • Negotiate contracts , pricing models , and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Present technical solutions , product portfolios , and value propositions to stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends , competitive landscape , and industry developments
  • Develop and execute business development strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Maintain high standards of client documentation , reporting , and communication
  • Manage and resolve client feedback , issues , and complaints with professionalism
  • Meet or exceed sales targets , performance KPIs , and growth objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies , industry standards , and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B consultative sales experience in information technology , communications , and security systems
  • Proven success in complex solution selling , strategic account management , and customized proposals
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure , cloud computing , cybersecurity , networking , IoT , and physical access control
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with RFIs / RFPs , public procurement , and bidding processes in IT&C
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation , presentation , stakeholder engagement , and consultative selling
  • Adept at identifying new markets , sales channels , and growth segments
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus
