Reliability engineer

A reliability engineer is responsible for assessing, improving, and maintaining the reliability of systems, or processes to ensure they meet or exceed performance and safety standards. This role involves analyzing data, conducting reliability tests, implementing preventive measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal system reliability.

Job Responsibilities

1. Reliability Analysis :

• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to system performance and failure rates.
• Perform statistical analysis and use reliability engineering tools to assess product / system reliability.
• Develop tool to perform data analysis i.e. new Dashboard combined with AI functionalities)

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements relevant to the products or systems being managed.

Skill and Qualifications :

Data Visualization Tools : Proficiency in tools such as : Power BI, Excel (advanced features : PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot), Sharepoint (power automate, sharepoint list)

Relevant certifications in reliability engineering (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer - CRE) are a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills.

Proficiency in reliability engineering software tools and data analysis techniques (FMECA, RCA, RCM, reliability block Diagram…).

Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Project management skills to plan and execute reliability improvement projects. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to preventing failures.

Adaptability : Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software updates.
